This poor girl has never seen the light before, yet the deeper she sank into the pit, she started to feel remorseful and restless. It was only recently that she told me how she felt, and I decided to tell her about the Passion of Christ for mankind, that she was very touched.

She started her most basic stage of discernment on good versus evil, right and wrong. As she started to have a better view of what she had been living, she was even remorseful and badly seeking for God's graces for forgiveness. As mentioned in (Ephesians 2:4-6, God loved us with so much love that he was generous with his mercy: when we were dead through our sins, he brought us to life with Christ – it is through grace that you have been saved – and raised us up with him and gave us a place with him in heaven, in Christ Jesus.)

She persevered to move away from her old way of living, determined to climb out of that dark pit no matter how much temptations her other friends hurled at her. I am very glad that she has conquered this first part of her death through God's mercy. Because of her remorseful and her thirst for freedom from darkness, she worked her way out to where the light, Christ light is shining at her.

Last night, I witnessed her baptism... it was such a beautiful moment. She told me she felt herself being resurrected with Jesus, abandoning the "dead corpse" in the past, a new life waiting for her to live with a bright path ahead. I could see the radiance on her face. It is her growing faith that brought her to this resurrection.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
